Update: Available NOW.
This update will be called 1.5 instead of 1.1 due to its major changes

After 5 months in development its finally ready!
We're currently on debugging phase, so its a little hard to tell exactly what day I'll start packaging. I'll keep you guys posted if anything happens. Here are a few screenshots of the new options that will be available:

What is opponent override for?

Fantastic!  Throws are the main thing my game is missing, so I'm VERY excited for this.

My guess is Opponent Override is for their throw reactions?  I assume we're able to set multiple types of throws, where each could require a different reaction from the opponent.

Loving that this update also includes input viewer, rect hitboxes and AI.

Mistermind: firstly, thanks heaps for this awesome update.  I can't wait to get my hands on it.

How are rect hitboxes incorporated?  Are they available both as passive and hurtboxes?  Are we able to align to body parts, or are they positioned in another way?

Many developer abandon asset update . You are very earnest.
I realy need Ai&Grapple&Rectangle collision. this update thankful!

Im excited to see the update with the AI and I wonder which Scripts will be effected by the new AI editor  ,cause I did already some changes. I hope I can find an easy way to replace the involved scripts with the new version. smile

Can I still use the old Movefiles (MoveInfos) or do I have to set up new Movefiles  for this update ?I have the source version.

Yes. I'm making sure everything has backwards compatibility and/or automatic conversion to new refined options.


On other news: Sorry for the extra delay guys. The debugging phase can be unpredictable. I'll keep you guys updated with screenshots and news about the development. Much like Unity on their updates, "it will be ready when its ready" big_smile

Sorry Steviebops, I completely missed your question.
There are some major remodeling coming up, but I think its better if we wait til I get to the documentation. I'll make sure to keep you guys updated with what I can through this thread.

Alrite guys, while I work on the documentation here is a little sample of whats coming:

There are several additions but the most significant ones are the AI engines and throw mechanics. You can also toggle debug info during game play as well as switch AI engines and its difficulty.

Indeed, looking good !! quick question regarding the new 1.1 version.  Do you think that our previous ChracterFiles, Moves, Global config files will work with this new update? or we will have to re do them? (specially the moves are quite time consuming),
btw cant wait to have more news about the update.

You will need to open all moves in 1.1 so UFE can process them with the new system.  And this is just the first time, so it's a once only action.  But other than that, you won't need to redo hitboxes or anything.

I'm not 100% sure about global config and character files, but at worst the same applies.

AWESOME news MisterMind! Gosh you and Yumcha are hard working developers I see. Anyway I'm curious if you two ever take breaks at all. If not you should most definitely take it easy after this release because you all have made history within our community yet again! Cheers!
