Topic: Thousands of UFE characters ready and easy to use

Hi, sorry my english is not very good.

Well like a lot of us i have the technicals skills, but i dont have
the artistic skills and time needed to make a char,
so i was researching and finally i got a solution.

The next video you're going to see take me 2 days, no kidding just 2
days to make it work with UFE (universal fighting engine) for Unity3d,

they are Boa Hancock from One Piece and Sephiroth From Final Fantasy
Crisis Core, well you're notice they have animation errors and the
sound its bad but i think it's pretty good for 2 days , and like they
two i find a collection of thousands of characters from anime, games,
sci-fi and other genders, they are fully rigged, skinned,
and with physics, mecanim compatible (accept any type of mecanim
animation) , all ready to use on UFE.

All those models come from MMD (miku miku dance), be careful there are a
lot of characters that have copyrights like the ones i use in the video,
but there are a lot to that are original characters, and a lot of authors let you
use them for free with certain conditions.

to export them to unity follow these steps:

1- Download this plugin MMD4 Mecanim from http://stereoarts.jp/
2- Look for one of the thousands MMD (MikuMikuDance) characters that
already exist you can findit on deviantart or any of the next sites:
http://mikudance.info/
3- this video showing the import proces from MMD to Unity

4- The video don´t showit but remember to change the rig to Humanoid
this is needed to work with UFE and Mecanim and to enable the phisics
on the char, other case the cloth will be rigid like a solid piece.

What's up Eliot what website if you know any has MMD characters that can be used for commercial games? I've searched throughout Google but no luck in finding a website that has original MMD models that aren't from preexisting games and can be for commercial use. Eliot please let us know as soon as possible to avoid any kind of copyright issues.

The original blog used to be full of them, but then Tumblr got all worried MMD was child porn.

Re: Thousands of UFE characters ready and easy to use

Idk if anyone here is still looking for or care at this point but if you are looking for mmd characters that are available for commercial use or basically just characters that are for commercial use. I actually like to play both ends of the spectrum building characters and doing code. It's not alot of work to actually make mmd characters you barely have to model anything yourself.

But I prefer to do my own modeling but that's just me. You can get pmd and use mmd-mall from deviant art to make what ever character you want
