Topic: UFE 2 Palette Swap 2D Tools (Asset)
I'm currently working on a 2D palette editor for UFE.
This is my first serious venture into programming and it's been really fun and challenging.
I'm at a point where I'd like @Mistermind to hook it up to UFE inputs, and hook it up to the netcode side of things as well.
I'd like to sell this asset once those two thing's have been implemented, since it makes the most sense.
UFE compatibility so far
Using character gameobject display mode
Character select screen player 1 and player 2 palette's being selected (Achieved using temporary inputs in script)
Selected Palette carries over into match (Achieved using playerprefs)
UI Character Palette Editor
This is the main feature of this asset, it allows you to create and save your own custom color palettes for characters.
Creating and saving 2 random custom color palettes
Loading the 2 saved random custom color palettes
Pick certain parts of the palette to edit
Color preview from color dropdown lists (I'm proud of this feature)
Pick color from dropdown lists
Edit color slider values
Movement options
Support for Color Palette Swapper Shader is included.
Color Palette Swapper Shader isn't required for use, but in certain use cases you will have to use it.
It's only 5$ at the time of writing this
