Topic: high/overhead parry?

Hello Everyone

OK so the idea is that the character has three moves one hits low, one hits mid and the other hits high/overhead. The goal is to guess which attack it is and parry accordingly.

Is there a way to make a parry that nulls high/overhead and assign it to an up,forward input?

Yes.  http://www.ufe3d.com/doku.php/move:chainmoves

In the "parry" move's Chain Links options, create a New Link with Link Conditions as Counter Move, then in Counter Move Options, uncheck Any Hit Type and change Hit Type to Overhead.

As long as your overhead attack is marked as an Overhead hit type, then this should work.
