Topic: Blocking

Can blocking animations be looped? The animations included with source seem to be static poses. I prefer to have some movement, but I notice that it doesn't loop like an Idle animation.

I set the  wrap mode of blockingHighPose in the MoveSetScript from Clamp Forever to Loop. Will this cause any problems?

Re: Blocking

Blocking animation on UFE have very similar algorithms to the hit animations, meaning their speed is pretty much dictated by the amount of stun put on each hit. Instead of using the blocking system from UFE you can try maybe using chain moves and counter moves to create a more dynamic reaction, but it requires some creativity.

Re: Blocking

Sounds interesting. It's probably not something I'd focus on now, so I'll come back to it.

Absolutely static characters generally don't look good, so maybe it's another idea to add some secondary motion elsewhere, like cloth physics.
