Topic: Little problem with character select screen...

Hi!

i'm having a really good time with the new GUI options in UFE, but i came across a little problem. i was changing the character select screen, and everything works fine, except that the first character in my grid never appears with it's small portrait

and also the portraits appear a bit strange, like stretched out, wich never happened in the last version. i supose it's a very simple thing, but can't find out exactly what.

Thanks for the help!

A few things:

- Check that Global Options | Characters doesn't have any empty slots.
- Check the CharacterSelect prefab and ensure Characters Per Row is set correctly (5).
- Check your portrait images are using a NPOT compression if they are not POT.

Other than that, not sure what else without seeing your set up.

Re: Little problem with character select screen...

If you temporarily re-order your characters, is it still the 1st that doesn't appear?

Re: Little problem with character select screen...

yes, it's always the first character, so i've discarded that it had something to do with that particular portrait.

Ah!  Looking at your Character Select Script screen shot, it looks like you've got portrait 0 in there twice (element 0 and element 8); & portrait 7 is in twice as well smile.
