Topic: Chaos Gene Project

I started to work on a remake Chaos Gene Project for unity, The old one was a 2D fighting game I made in M.U.G.E.N years ago. Chaos Gene is going to be a very dark and gritty fighting game with some elements of your favorite fighting games such as MvC, SF3 & Guilty Gear.

Here are some early screen shots of what its kinda going to look like. Im not much a 3D modeler since im still learning so most of these models were made using Daz3d & Poser so I can atleast get a feel of what I want some of characters to look like when I start making my own character models.

Nice! Looks good.

Don't worry about using Daz or similar for your models. You need to get character in there somehow, right?? I've been using Mixamo and FUSE for a while now, and although the characters aren't 100% like how I wanted them, they're really good considering the time it took to create them (not to mention the savings in cost of hiring a professional 3D artist).

I wished you had some gameplay video to show though. Still what you have is a very good start. If you can get your own fonts in there, then one could bare tell it's using UFE.

Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing more from your game.

I have also been using Mixamo but for animations but I will have some game play vids up by this weekend. as for the fonts im making my own right now & some new life bars

I haven't worked on this project for a couple months because I was working on another one in Unreal. But now that I have started again I have gone back and changed some of the models and animations. Still working on trying to get the particles to look right and a few other things.

Im still looking for someone to work with who can do the character models & maybe someone for animations.
