Topic: Hit override problem

I noticed some weird problems when using hit effect and recovery override .

- Overriding hit effect with a new one won't spawn the new particle effect.

- doing a combo from like

sweep > hit without recovery > hit with recovery > hit without recovery

this will result to the opponent getting stuck in the falling animation when reaching the ground for a couple of seconds before going into knock down state.

anyone had a similar problem?

Hi!

About the hit override effects, have you checked the Effect Duration? If it's 0, it never spawn hit effects. I'd recommend to set it to 1 to see if it is the problem origin.

About the opponent stuck in the failing animation, I'm not sure, but it seems like you have the Hit Stun Options value too big (depending if you choosed Seconds Stun Type or Frame Stun Type). If these are the case, try to set the Hit Stun Options to minimum values (0.1 for Seconds Type, or 1 for Frame Type) and toggle on Reset Hit Stun and Reset Crumbles options.
