Topic: Animation Rotation Issue

Hi,

Great job on the fighting engine.

I ran into an issue with animation rotations that I purchased through Mixamo.com.  I've tried 2 animations and both of them rotate the character before playing.  Here is a video of the raw Mixamo animation in Unity:

Any idea why he is turning?

This is a common occurrence when dealing with new imported assets.  Have a play around with the import settings on the FBX of the animation file (specifically, Animations Tab).  In your case, I would play around with Root Transform Rotation.  Try different combinations of Bake Into Pose on/off and Based Upon Body Orientation/Original etc.  Worst case you'll need an offset as well.

In my experience, depending on the source of the animation clips I've also had to change Root Transform Position (Y) and/or Root Transform Position (XZ) as well.  It's just part of the process when you get animation clips from different sources.
