We are creating a custom Animatic for the opening to play before the character selection. What is the best format for that movie to be in? I had heard ogv, UFE won't accept MP4?

Does Maya's geodesic voxel binding work with UFE. We have a student project that we are hoping to use UFE with but I'm trying to decide between basic and pro. We will have a short fight scene with 2 custom characters to set up. Could you suggest the best option for a student budget?
