I am having the same problems but so far there are no tutorials or plug-ins for this. someone did post a code of how to implement it on ufe 1.7 but that code does not work on ufe 2.0

in chain moves you have to add the previous attack to chain link. here example if you want to do 2 different attacks with button 1.

1. your first attack button 1 (attack 1) has to have a move link to its next attack
2. if its another attack that uses the same input then you must have the previous attack (attack 1) as a required move in the chain of (attack 2).
3. also make sure you have either button press or button release checked for the move to activate.
4. if you have auto execution on it will just play 1 move to the next without pressing anything.
5. you can use ignore player conditions to link into crouching attacks.


with this you can do this to make tekken style combos, mvsc2 ect...

I use to have that problem in UFE 1 but there is a couple of things that worked for me. I found that loading all the stages and characters as prefabs gave me a bit of a slow down after playing for a while. these are the things that worked for me.

1. I switched the loading methods of the stages as a scene file.
2. Load a character stance instead of using the preloaded one.
3. in global options you can change the preload method for something that works for your game.
4. In camera for the clipping planes try not to have it over something like 500 or 600. you can do it at a much lower number depending on how your making your stage backgrounds. my mistake was making some huge detailed stages at first which slowed things down.
5 pretty easy one but don't use something like 4k or even 2k textures in a background that's far to notice the detail. Change the texture quality to 1024 or even 512 if it still looks great.

There is also a lot of small things here and there for you to optimize your game for it to run better. I haven't really had any issues after doing some optimization.

I was wondering if there is a list with any of the new features coming soon? If some of these haven't been implemented yet I think updating the UI to support text mesh pro would be great for non programmers who don't know how to set it up. as well as a timer options, Round options and opening up the training mode options when one is playing training mode.

The Chaos Gene Project is an Indie fighting game being developed using Unity Engine and UFE. Chaos Gene is going to be a fighting game inspired by Metal, Pop, Cybergoth and Sci-Fi culture. With similar elements from your favorite fighting games like Street Fighter & KOF. The final game will have anywhere between 14 to 20 original characters, each with their own unique personality's and fighting styles.   

This is a passion project of mine that I have been developing for years but was on hold for a little over 2 years because of my job and not having any free time. The first chaos gene game was made for M.U.G.E.N in the mid 00's. At the time I went by the handle ss5ace and worked on several other fighting game projects in the community like Project X (Which was pretty much Children of the Atom 2) & DC vs Marvel for MUGEN. I attended the college of Westchester in NY where I have a background in multimedia design and management. my skills are in character modeling and sculpting, music production and intermediate skill level when it comes to coding. 

I am currently looking for a 3d animator to collaborate on this project. So far I have animations from the marketplace as a placeholder for the characters to test out the gameplay. 

I was planning on releasing a kick starter for this project but with the current state of the world and so many people losing their jobs its on hold for now.

so I went back and remade and added some new bones to a character rig, tested it out it works fine with animation and everything. I got into my UFE project and the character animates fine in my character select screen but once the game thats it freezes the game kinda. The character I select just freezes while the cpu just stand there in place. so im confused wiith wtf just happened.

I have gone back and tested out the old rig for that character and it works just fine with the standard animations for ufe/unity.

has anyone else encountered this problem?

The models in the vid are the old ones made with daz and mixamo for testing out and the animations are from the market place  where used for prototyping purposes as well. I am still working on remaking the models and animations, as for the stage I still need to learn a bit more about lighting and stuff

yeah I noticed the UI setting are a bit different. depending on the screen size the character selection icons disappears on me. Other then that I haven't noticed any other problems
