Topic: Animations look different in previewer? help?

So i'm running into an error with animations I downloaded from Mixamo. The problem I'm having is that the animations look great when i play them but the second I put them into my moveset via UFE2, they look different. It must be a setting somewhere in the animation/ modelrig itself but I couldnt begin to tell you which one it is or where to look. It's hard to explain the difference so I recorded a video.

The first is the animation being played via Unity's previewer. then when I take that same animation and put it into UFE it looks worse and carries that quality into gameplay.

Anyone have any ideas on where to start solving this?

Hard to say. Did you watch this video tutorial? It shows how to import characters from Mixamo:

For anyone looking at this later, the answer lied in me changing the root transform oriented to the original and not the center of mass. See Mistermind's post for more details
