Topic: Implementing Cinput

Here's a small tutorial on how to use Cinput in your project.  I wanted to do this because info on getting this inside of UFE is scarce so here you go.

1. Get the asset

You can get Cinput from the asset store.  the 15 dollar version will work fine, but if you want more control, you'll want the source version for 30 dollars.

2. Import Cinput into your project

3. Replace your input manager

go to Edit>Project Settings> you'll see the Cinput option and it will replace the input manager for you and do all of the work!

4. Assign Cinput to your Global Config

In your project's global config file, you'll need to go to input options and assign Cinput from the dropdown

.
Walla!  You're ready to use Cinput in your project!  I love this asset because without any coding you can have interchangeable controls that can be modified at run time.  PC picks up most game controllers instantly, but you'll need a driver for MAC to read a lot of them (Like Xbox 360)
