Topic: Wall bounce different than bounce off camera edge

I would like to have 2 separate things happen when a character bounced off camera edge
Versus when they hit the end boundary of the stage

For camera edge I want to do wall bounce like normal

For end boundary I want the character to just splat on the wall and stay there for a few frames before falling or until hit


Has anyone tried to do something similar yet?

I've been interested in doing something similar in my game, but haven't actually done anything in the code towards that feature atm.
