its when projectile doesnt collides at all, when it whiffs opponent it gets stuck

I have the same problem, I'm using the Source version of UFE2 and I'm trying to implementa a simple hit move that emits projectiles but if the projectile doesnt hit the enemy but the enemy is near enough, the character get STUCK in BLOCKING state.
I think its a bug and I have to fix it direct in the code

Did you check your projectile's hit area and block area? their size should be almost the same with the block area encapsulating the hit area. I believe getting stuck happens when only the block area make a contact with the other character.
